I recently enjoyed a stay at a charming spot in Sandown, and overall, it was a solid experience. The location was outstanding, just a couple of minutes from the beach and surrounded by various shops and restaurants. Perfect for a leisurely stroll and grabbing a bite. Our room was spacious with a large, comfortable bed that made for a good night's sleep. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch, especially with free Netflix access to unwind after a day of exploring. The kitchenette was well-equipped, complete with cookware and an electric kettle for those tea cravings. I appreciated the spotless cleanliness throughout, and the bathroom included free toiletries, which were a nice convenience. The bus stop right in front made getting around easy, not to mention the local deli, the Bay, served up some delicious homemade meals. Wilma, our hostess, was friendly and accommodating. While this was not a luxury suite, it offered good value for the price. If you're searching for a laid-back base on the island, this place delivers.
